EVP - Chief Technology Officer

With more than 30 years in the premium finance industry, Axel brings deep expertise across executive leadership, IT systems, operations, acquisitions, risk, and compliance—giving him a 360-degree view of the business. He spent two decades helping grow Flatiron Capital into a leading national premium finance provider, and his early involvement was instrumental in building the foundation of National Partners.

At NP, Axel leads technology strategy and execution—driving secure, scalable solutions that empower agents, partners, and internal teams. His background spans IT, risk management, and systems development, with a degree in Economics from Rice University and early experience designing large-scale enterprise systems.

Outside the office, Axel enjoys Colorado’s outdoors—especially cycling—and recently completed the legendary Triple Bypass ride.
